Christmas Fun

If you are wanting to get out of the house for a walk over this Christmas Period then there are a few festive trails you can complete at the same time.

Holy Trinity Scavenger Hunts officially ran until the 14th December, so although you can't be entered to the prize draw, you could still complete one of the hunts and learn something new about the area. Both hunts start and end at Holy Trinity Church. Some of the clues on the longer trail ask you to find pictures in windows, some of these may no longer be there (just so you are warned). The two hunts can be downloaded below and if you enjoy the trails and would like to make a donation to the Church, information can be found at the bottom of this page.

Long Scavenger Hunt (about an hour)

Short Scavenger Hunt (about 30-45 mins)

Priory School Snowman Trail has been organised by FOPSA, runs until the 31st December and is particularly suited to families with young children. It involves walking round a small area of Wimbledon to enjoy the Christmas decorations outside people's houses and find the letter on a snowman's tummy at each house, which then spells out a festive expression which enables people to enter a prize draw. It only costs £5 per family but if people buy extra entries, they're more likely to win the prizes! Tickets are available at http://www.pta-events.coc.uk/fopsa where people will need to create an account (it's very simple).

Love Wimbledon Reindeer Trail sees eight vibrant and colourful reindeer (plus Rudolph) gracing the streets of Wimbledon until 3rd January. At 3 metres tall, the reindeer shouldn't be hard to find. Find the reindeer and be transported to a virtual Winter Wonderland through your mobile device with the latest augmented reality technology and surprises around every corner. Nine different experiences – FREE fun for all! More information (along with the instructions for mobile devices) can be found at https://lovewimbledon.org/wimbledon-reindeer-trail/

With all the trails, please remember to stay safe on the roads and keep socially distanced from others.
