A day to face the reality of our mortality and our need for God's grace. A day for everyone to worship at the start of the season of Lent. There are five chances in our parish:
8.00 - 9.00am 'Ashes to Go' near Colliers Wood Tube Station
The clergy will be out in the street to offer Ashing and Prayer to passers by
9.45am Eucharist with hymns at St John the Divine, High Path, Merton
Followed by refreshments
1.45 - 2.30pm 'Ashes to Go' near Wimbledon Station
The clergy will be out in the street to offer Ashing and Prayer to passers by
5.30 - 6.30pm 'Ashes to Go' near Wimbledon Station
The clergy will be out in the street to offer Ashing and Prayer to passers by
7.30pm Eucharist with hymns at Holy Trinity, South Wimbledon
All these services are team services. Please go to whichever suits you best.
The imposition of Ashes will be offered at all services.
